Inkvision Tattoo FAQs

Q: How much do tattoos cost?

A: We have a shop minimum of $60. The price varies depending upon the size of the tattoo, the amount of time it will take, and the artist. Artists may establish an hourly rate for larger pieces.

Q: How do I care for my healing tattoo?

A: Remove bandage after 3-5 hours. Do not re bandage. Wash tattoo with a mild soap and warm water. Pat dry with a clean towel. Apply a THIN layer of ointment (we suggest bag balm, A&D, bacitracin). Repeat this process (wash, dry, ointment) twice daily for 1-2 weeks, or until your tattoo is healed. Make sure that your hands are clean before touching your tattoo. Once it starts peeling and flaking, switch from using ointment to using a mild, fragrance free moisturizing lotion. Do not pick at or scratch your tattoo. Avoid soaking your tattoo while healing. No pools, bathes, etc. Keep your fresh tattoo out of direct sunlight until fully healed. Once healed, use sunscreen (sun exposure fades the ink). If you have any questions, please call or email us.

Q: What should I do to prepare to get tattooed?

A: Shower, please. Drink lots of water, eat well, and get plenty of rest. Wear clothing that is comfortable and will help us get to the part of your body that you want tattooed. Don't forget your ID, and of course, bring plenty of money. We accept cash, credit and debit cards. No checks, please.

Q: How old do you have to be to get a tattoo?

A: It is our shop policy to not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Period. Make sure to bring your ID.
